Research and Teaching Experience: Twenty four years teaching and research experience on principles of plant pathology, integrated disease management, epidemiology and disease forecasting and diseases of vegetable crops. Published more than 60 Research papers and 7 bulletins regarding epidemiology and management of cereals, pulses, oilseeds, flower and vegetable diseases in different national and international journals. Contribution for the publication of a monograph. Released three disease tolerant vegetable varieties like Bidhan Kusum (Amorphophallus paeoniifolium), Bidhan Chaitanya and Bidhan Joydeb (Colocasia eseulenta var. antiquarum) through clonal selection.
